Wow the day has finally arrived the 2ed floor is done. Now for the fun part decorating.

A little bit of complaining and a whole lot of work done. Looks like next week the upstairs should be finished!

Here are some pictures of the very slow progress being made. This project has been a big headache. I have spent the last almost 8 months(lets remember the 5 weeks he told me it would take) hearing false finish dates, lame excuses for why work has not been done, and my eyes have seen alot of bad mistakes. I am truely sick of my contractor and would NEVER suggest him to anyone. My upstairs only looks this good because i have spent alot of time telling them exactly what to do.

bathroom shower

Here are some pictures of the shower. the plywood in the middle is where the window will be. On the left side of the shower where there is another cut out is going to be glass so the natural light can still come through to where the sink will be. I am still deciding on tile. i was in New York visiting the Waterworks store, which is amazing! there are so many choices of beautiful tile. I have also decided to go with the bamboo floor instead of tiling the bathroom floor.

Boo! we have been busy working on turning our basement into a halloween dream. our hands hurt from cutting for hours! It still needs alot of work.
